| When we opened our doors at Beta Foster Care our mission has been to care for the most vulnerable children in our community, hence our motto is "Always for the Children." With your help, we can bring hope, love, and tranquility back to Orange County's abused and neglected children - children who are victims of physical, emotional, and sexual abuse - suffering needlessly in an unhealthy environment. We love children and support our foster parents. We professionally match these deserving foster children with our loving foster parents to ensure a stable, loving, and healthy environment for children to recover. Under the care of foster parents the child receives shelter and professional services that prevent further abuse and neglect. While the child is being well cared for, the natural parents are given time and adequate opportunity for their rehabilitation and safe Family Reunification. But the benefits of quality foster parenthood reach well beyond temporary care. By providing a healthy family environment, filled with love and acceptance, foster parents play a vital role in stabilizing the child's emotions as well as offering a vivid alternative to a lifestyle of abuse and neglect. The emotional patterns learned in an abusive and neglectful environment can be changed, preventing the cycle of abuse from continuing through generations. Beta Foster Care does Make a Difference One Child at a Time with One Foster Family at a Time! | Donate to Beta Foster Care | | | | | Established in Orange County, California, Beta Foster Care was incorporated in 1988 as a 501(c)(3) non-profit agency tasked with providing private foster family placement for children in Orange County who have been removed from their parents' custody due to abuse and neglect. Beta Foster Care is licensed by the State of California Department of Social Services to serve as a Treatment Foster Family Agency designed to meet the special emotional needs of children in foster care placement. Beta Foster Care's mission is to provide professional services that prevent cruelty to children. The initial goal is to stabilize the child's life. A nurturing, kind and supportive foster home, without placement changes, is the first step in stabilization. Consequently, the vast majority of the children placed in Beta Foster Care’s program remain with the same foster family until they are returned safely by the Juvenile Court to live with their parents under a program called Family Reunification. If reunification is not possible our foster children remain in our homes until they are placed permanently into adoption or guardianship. Many of Beta Foster Care's foster parents also then adopt their foster children. |
